It is almost certain that you have never seen this before. I created this fiddle in October 2017 and I am sure it is a first. I have taken the top of the agave stalk and cut a short piece with the curved flower-stem still attached. With the main piece hollowed out it sounds just like the Apache fiddle but is easier to hold in a fiddle-playing position.
